Frontier Internet, recently acquired by Verizon, is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Analysis to shape their data-driven culture. The role involves managing large datasets, applying advanced analytical methods, and influencing strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive data analysis projects, employing techniques such as regression analysis, predictive modeling, and other statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and causal relationships
- Design and conduct complex data studies and experiments, interpreting results to provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Ensure the effective utilization of PowerBI for advanced data analytics, including the integration of statistical tools and methodologies
- Develop and refine metrics and KPIs that align with business objectives, using advanced data analysis to validate and adjust these metrics as needed
- Facilitate the extraction and manipulation of large and complex datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data sources
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection procedures and improve the quality of analytics
- Champion a data-driven culture within the organization, providing training and guidance on data analysis and interpretation to team members and other departments
- Stay abreast of industry trends in data analytics and business intelligence, continuously exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance our analytical capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Analytics, Advanced Physics, STEM or Business related Major, or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience in hands-on data analytics, including model building and statistical analysis
- 3+ years of experience in automating reporting and analysis through various BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableau and Power Automate
- 3+ years of experience using Excel and SQL at an advanced level
- Experience with transforming and cleaning data with R or Python preferred
- Experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and implementing new databases preferred
