They are seeking a Quality Engineer II to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products through manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance testing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using open-source tools and frameworks
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and basic performance testing
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of automated test suites and frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Ensure proper version control of automation code and adherence to code quality and testing best practices
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to clarify requirements, identify risks, and define test coverage
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, story refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Perform thorough regression testing following defect fixes and feature enhancements
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful quality feedback
- Assist in estimating testing effort and providing input on testing timelines and risks
- Support and mentor junior Quality Engineers through knowledge sharing, pairing, and code reviews
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in software quality engineering
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in software quality engineering
- Practical AI experience required - Comfortable using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for prototyping, debugging, and problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

- Strong Automation Skills – Ability to design and maintain automated tests using modern open-source tools; experience with TypeScript and Python preferred, with Playwright a plus
