
Senior Tulip MES Implementation Engineer Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Digital Transformation - 68828
We have an urgent need for a Senior Tulip MES Implementation Engineer for contract opportunities supporting a large-scale pharmaceutical digital manufacturing transformation program. One position is based in Indianapolis, USA, while the second position is for a Global Consultant role requiring travel to Kansas City, Missouri, Winslow, Maine, and Iowa. This engagement offers the opportunity to lead critical MES initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities, supporting the deployment of modern digital manufacturing solutions in highly regulated environments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, validating, and deploying Tulip MES solutions that support key pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role involves developing Tulip applications for Electronic Batch Records, Weigh and Dispense processes, equipment setup and cleaning workflows, in-process quality checks, sampling activities, and operator-facing dashboards. Candidates will work closely with manufacturing, quality, validation, IT/OT, and business stakeholders to deliver compliant and production-ready MES solutions. Responsibilities include integrating Tulip with SAP ERP, LIMS platforms, PLCs, SCADA systems, Historians, and IoT devices using REST APIs, SQL, and Python while ensuring reliable data exchange across enterprise and shop-floor systems. The selected professional will support validation activities including URS, FRS, IQ, OQ, PQ, testing documentation, traceability matrices, user acceptance testing, go-live activities, hypercare support, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency and operational excellence.
Required skill sets include strong expertise in the Tulip MES Platform, MES implementation, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, and regulated industry compliance. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Tulip application development, workflow configuration, dashboard development, REST APIs, SQL, Python, SAP ERP integration, LIMS integration, and shop-floor connectivity technologies including PLCs, SCADA systems, and Historians. Strong knowledge of GMP, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, Computer System Validation methodologies, and ALCOA Data Integrity principles is essential. Experience supporting batch manufacturing processes, quality management systems, manufacturing traceability, Industry 4.0 initiatives, digital manufacturing programs, and multi-site MES deployments is highly preferred. Strong communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, documentation, training, and Agile project delivery experience are critical for success in this role.
