Descartes Systems Group is a leading logistics and supply chain technology company that provides innovative solutions for efficient supply chains. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the SellerCloud e-commerce platform, ensuring alignment with customer needs and driving measurable business outcomes through effective product strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a focused product strategy and roadmap aligned to customer needs, market dynamics, and business goals, prioritising impact over noise
- Deliver initiatives tied directly to revenue growth, retention, margin protection, and/or operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain a robust customer discovery practice, validating problems before solutions and ensuring shipped capabilities address high value, real world use cases
- Drive delivery across engineering and cross functional teams, removing blockers, maintaining scope discipline, and ensuring solutions are complete (including workflows, edge cases, and integrations)
- Identify and advance integration and partnership opportunities across the Descartes product portfolio to reduce fragmentation and enable seamless customer experiences
- Contribute to monetisation decisions including pricing, packaging, positioning, and upsell opportunities
- Build trust and alignment with executives and cross functional partners through clear communication, sound judgement, and data driven decision making
Requirements:
- Several years of experience as a Product Manager, owning products through the full product development lifecycle (discovery → delivery → iteration)
- Experience working on B2B SaaS products, ideally in e commerce, order management, inventory, shipping, logistics, or warehouse systems
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business outcomes, not just features
- Experience collaborating across multiple products or platforms, including integrations, shared capabilities, or ecosystem partnership
- Comfortable working with engineering teams in complex, multi system environments
- Strong product judgement with a clear ability to prioritise what not to build
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured, actionable plans
- Solid understanding of e commerce and/or supply chain systems (OMS, IMS, WMS, shipping/logistics platforms)
- Ability to connect product decisions to commercial impact (revenue, retention, efficiency)
- Data driven approach to prioritisation and decision making
- High agency: Takes initiative, creates momentum, and owns outcomes end to end
- Drives execution across engineering and cross functional teams with accountability
- Comfortable navigating complexity, dependencies, and competing priorities
