CCIE is must have
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote support for network and security infrastructure including:
- Firewalls
- Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Routers and switches
- Other network and security technologies
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network and security systems
- Deliver technical guidance to internal teams, including:
- Security design recommendations
- Implementation support
- Technical research and solution evaluation
- Support integration efforts across multi-vendor network environments
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality delivery
- Adapt to varied assignments and shifting priorities across projects
Certifications & Qualifications
- Must hold current certifications aligned with the level of support being provided
- Strongly preferred:
- Enterprise-level certifications
- Security certifications
- Highly desirable experience/knowledge in:
- Cybersecurity Operations (Cyber Ops)
- Data Center technologies
- Service Provider environments
- CCIE / CCDE (including Emeritus status) will be considered
Work Environment & Expectations
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during standard business hours
- Hybrid support model with onsite and remote responsibilities
- Contractor must provide their own equipment (laptop, mobile device, tools, etc.)
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a distributed team
Travel Requirements
- Local travel may be required to support project needs
- Occasional extended travel may be required, with adherence to pre-approval guidelines
- Ability to support work across multiple locations as needed
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to support after-hours work (evenings/weekends) for maintenance or operations activities
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Access to internal organizational resources/tools necessary to complete assigned tasks
