Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to design, plan, and improve large and complex wireless network systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and planning wireless network architecture and topology.
- Supporting network implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Analyzing and solving wireless network issues and performance problems.
- Evaluating new wireless technologies and recommending improvements.
- Creating and maintaining network design documents (using tools like Visio).
- Working with routing, switching, TCP/IP, and wireless standards.
What we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of wireless networking (Wi-Fi, routing, switching, TCP/IP).
- Understanding of network design and architecture.
- Experience with wireless standards (IEEE 802.11, Ethernet, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
- Experience with network design tools like Visio and MS Office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in wireless/network engineering.
- Cisco Wireless certification (CCNP Wireless or similar) is a plus.
- Experience with Cisco or other wireless vendors (Ruckus, Aruba, etc.) is preferred.
