We are seeking a seasoned Application Engineer III - Integration to join our team and drive enterprise-level integration initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in building, debugging, and optimizing complex interconnected systems, with a strong focus on APIs, messaging, and middleware. The ideal candidate will operate at a senior engineer level, balancing hands-on technical work with system-level testing and validation in highly regulated environments.
Design, implement, and support enterprise integrations across APIs, messaging systems, and middleware.
Work with message queue technologies (MQ/MQS or similar) to ensure reliable data flow.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across distributed, interconnected systems (e.g., ESP, NuSoft, or similar platforms).
Perform integration and system-level testing to validate end-to-end data lifecycle.
Identify and resolve issues across multiple systems with a strong QA mindset.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with standards.
Operate in environments where engineers are responsible for both development and testing.
Technical Expertise
Strong background in enterprise integrations (API, messaging, middleware).
Hands-on experience with message queue technologies (MQ/MQS or similar).
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, data validation, and transformation.
Proficiency in SQL and database querying.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across distributed systems.
Testing & QA Mindset
Proven ability to perform integration and system-level testing.
Experience validating full data lifecycle end-to-end.
Ability to identify issues across multiple interconnected systems.
Experience Level
7-10+ years of professional engineering experience.
Prior experience operating at a senior or lead engineer level.
Background in financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
