Hypervision Surgical is a spin-out from King’s College London, focused on enhancing surgical precision through AI-driven imaging technology. The Clinical Product Specialist will drive the adoption and market development of their innovative surgical vision platform by engaging with clinical teams and ensuring the technology is effectively integrated into surgical workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with surgeons, OR teams, and hospital stakeholders to understand real-world workflows and clinical needs
- Identify where value is created, where friction arises, and what drives or limits adoption
- Distinguish between clinical interest, perceived value, and value that drives sustained use
- Consolidate signals of clinical value, workflow impact, and willingness to pay
- Assess whether current use is generating meaningful value signals and identify gaps between current product use and real-world adoption drivers
- Contribute to clinical messaging, positioning, and value proposition, grounded in real-world use
- Translate field experience into clear, evidence-backed narratives for commercial engagement
- Capture, document and structure insights related to workflows, usability, system performance, and integration
- Translate real-world experience into input for product evolution, workflow improvements, and platform capabilities
- Contribute to defining user- and workflow-driven requirements for the cloud-enabled platform, aligned with clinical and operational needs
- Create and refine clinical content and customer-facing materials
- Support evaluation of form factor, usability, and workflow fit in real OR environments
- Support onboarding and training at early adopter and commercial test sites
- Build trusted relationships with clinical and hospital stakeholders
- Ensure smooth and reliable day-to-day use of the system during clinical procedures and hospital workflows
- Identify and resolve operational challenges during clinical use, working constructively with hospital teams
- Work with hospital IT, information security, and procurement teams to support deployment and integration of cloud-enabled systems in hospital environments
- Document and synthesise findings into clear, decision-ready recommendations
- Highlight validated vs unvalidated assumptions, strength of evidence, and key risks
- Support prioritisation and sequencing decisions, including where further validation is required before scaling
- Work closely with Technology, Clinical Development, Compliance, Cloud Platform and Commercial teams
- Ensure insights are effectively triaged, communicated, and acted upon across the organisation
- Support the transition to credible, repeatable, and referenceable customer sites
- Contribute to scalable delivery and commercialisation models
