Better Car People is focused on improving dealership performance through hands-on coaching and specialized technology. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative who can create opportunities by connecting with automotive dealers and identifying gaps in their processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build pipeline by prospecting automotive dealerships through calls, email, and social outreach
- Start real conversations with decision-makers such as GMs, GSMs, and Internet Directors
- Qualify opportunities by understanding current sales process, lead handling, and performance gaps
- Set high-quality meetings and demos that convert, not just fill calendars
- Partner closely with Account Executives to strategize on accounts and territories
- Stay sharp on our solutions, dealership challenges, and industry trends
- Track activity and pipeline in Salesforce with discipline and accuracy
- Consistently hit and push past activity and performance targets
Requirements:
- Proven ability or strong desire to prospect and generate outbound opportunities
- Comfortable on the phone and confident leading conversations with industry professionals
- Strong work ethic with a competitive, results-driven mindset
- Ability to handle objections without losing momentum
- Organized, accountable, and consistent with follow-up
- Coachable, adaptable, and motivated to improve every day
- Experience in automotive, dealership, vendor, or related sales role strongly preferred
