MTLI Group is a North American turnkey industrial contractor and systems integrator with a strong track record of completed projects. They are seeking experienced Project Managers to oversee large, complex industrial projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Multiple active projects across different states, from handoff through closeout
- Project execution, schedule, budget, reporting, and customer communication
- Crew, supervisor, vendor, and subcontractor coordination across locations
- Project P&L—tracking labor, equipment, materials, freight, travel, and change orders
- Daily customer reporting, Gantt schedules, and progress against plan
- Safety compliance—toolbox talks, FLHAs, JHSAs, equipment inspections, site forms
- Material deliveries, shipments, and equipment rentals
- Change order backup, scope tracking, and approvals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management on large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects—racking, automation, conveyor, material handling, or industrial construction
- Proven experience managing large installation projects, full-scope installs, and decommissions, including electrical and mechanical scopes
- Experience delivering large, complex projects for major companies—Amazon or comparable Fortune 500 / national operators strongly preferred
- AutoCAD experience—able to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings
- Estimation experience—scoping projects, pricing labor and materials, and supporting accurate quotes
- Proven experience managing multiple active projects across several states at once
- Strong ability to prioritize competing demands across locations, time zones, crews, and customers
- Experience coordinating remote field teams, traveling crews, supervisors, electrical/mechanical trades, vendors, and subcontractors
- Solid grasp of project schedules, labor planning, cost tracking, and multi-trade site coordination
- Ability to read scopes of work and project documents across electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines
- Experience with Gantt schedules, project reporting, cost tracking, P&L, and change orders
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. as projects require
- PMP certification (or working toward it)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, civil, or related)
- Experience with Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar
- Experience managing crews of 10+ and project budgets/P&L
- Experience with racking, conveyor, automation, mezzanine, or decommissioning/relocation projects
- Experience working with national accounts, general contractors, or warehouse operators
