Caddie AI is a venture-backed AI startup focused on building next-generation digital workers for financial compliance teams. They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale complex full-stack products and develop AI-powered agents for financial infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Building and scaling complex full-stack products
- Designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems
- Developing AI-powered agents and intelligent workflows
- Integrating with financial data providers and compliance systems
- Shipping production-ready Python code at startup speed
- Working closely with customers to solve mission-critical problems
Requirements:
- Exceptional full-stack engineering expertise
- Deep architectural experience with large-scale distributed systems and data management
- Strong Python experience
- Strong product mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and customer needs
- Proven track record in fast-moving startup environments
- High ownership, urgency, and bias for action
- Financial Compliance experience strongly preferred (+++)
- FinTech experience, particularly payments, highly valued (++)
- Experience working with ML, Deep Learning, and AI Agents (++)
