Nexia is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the product strategy and lifecycle management of laboratory identification and tracking solutions. The role involves developing go-to-market plans, managing product lifecycles, and gathering market intelligence to support future product development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product strategy and lifecycle management of laboratory identification and tracking solutions, including slide and cassette printing systems, workflow software, integration tools, and related accessories
- Develop and implement go-to-market and commercialisation plans across global direct and channel sales networks
- Build and maintain multi-year product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and business objectives
- Manage all stages of the product lifecycle, including new product introductions, enhancements, portfolio optimisation, and retirement planning
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and industry insights to identify unmet needs and support future product development initiatives
- Translate customer and market requirements into detailed product specifications and business cases
- Develop pricing strategies, margin targets, demand forecasts, and commercial plans to support growth objectives
- Coordinate product validation activities and assess customer satisfaction, usability, and market readiness prior to launch
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, life sciences, or related technical discipline
- Approximately 5–7 years' experience spanning product management and product marketing, ideally within medical devices, healthcare technology, diagnostics, laboratory solutions, or a related sector
- Proven experience launching and commercialising medical equipment, software platforms, or integrated healthcare technology solutions
- Experience working with laboratory information systems (LIS) integrations or similar healthcare software environment
- Ability to develop technical, scientific, and customer-facing content to support product launches and commercial activities
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience with pricing strategy, profitability analysis, forecasting, and business planning
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20–25%)
