American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH) is seeking an Administrative Analyst to join their Practitioner Data Management department. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support for departmental initiatives, ensuring quality and accuracy in managing practitioner records and correspondence.
Responsibilities:
- Supports administrative functions related to Practitioner Records
- Receive, review, categorize, incoming documents and Practitioner correspondence submitted to Provider Data Management Department through various communications portals including email, fax, and internal communications channels
- Submit incomplete or illegible documents to appropriate outreach channel to obtain required information, corrections, and/or clarifications prior to filing documents for processing
- Assist in the processing of Practitioner Status Change Request
- Builds new non-contracted practitioner records and updates existing records for claims and MNRF processing purposes
- Processes term letters with 100% accuracy within 1 business day of Contract Determination Committee (CDC) decision
- Processes resignation letters with 100% accuracy, submits resignation data for practitioner retention efforts
- Receives and forwards malpractice declaration information to the Credentialing department within 1 business day of request
- Maintains data integrity of the practitioner database by entering all data efficiently and with at least 98% accuracy
- Participates in team meetings and performs other functions as requested by coordinator, supervisor, and/or manager
- Represents ASH in an ethical, professional, and positive manner
- Maintains confidentiality of practitioner data

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED certificate required
- 2 years computer experience including word processing, database management, and spreadsheets required
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers
- Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment
