- Workflow Design: Analyze and translate complex radiology workflows (CT, MRI, Mammo) into efficient system configurations.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between clinical staff (radiologists/technologists) and IT/Vendor teams for troubleshooting and system enhancements.
- Implementation & Upgrades: Lead technical validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades and new site deployments.
- Integration Support: Oversee DICOM/HL7 integrations and ensure smooth interoperability with the EHR (e.g., Epic Radiant), AIDOC, TeraRecon and reporting systems (e.g., Powerscribe360 and RadAI).
Core Qualifications
- Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience specifically with Visage 7 PACS. (Visage Failovers, Hardware Refreshes, Cloud deployment strategies, Cert installs)
- Clinical Knowledge: Deep understanding of diagnostic imaging workflows and radiologist reading patterns.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with DICOM standards, HL7 interfaces, and server-side rendering architecture.
- Certifications: CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) or RT (Radiologic Technologist) background is highly preferred.
Essential Skills
- Analytical: Ability to diagnose complex image delivery and Microsoft OS issues for imaging.
- Communication: Skilled at "translating" technical jargon into clinical terms for physicians.
- Agility: Capable of managing high-pressure situations during system go-lives or downtime events.
