Scalence L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to enhance and optimize financial systems, focusing on inbound customer payments and fraud prevention. The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure efficient and secure financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects related to financial systems enhancements, customer payment processing, fraud prevention, and operational risk management
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams to ensure successful implementation of system enhancements and process improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, performance, and security of financial systems
- Coordinate all phases of project delivery, including planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and post-production support
- Support financial systems testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of new system functionality
- Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
- Develop solutions for financial system issues and support ongoing maintenance activities
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness
- Assist with prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple projects and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, controls, and security requirements
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, business cases, and executive-level communications
- Support training and knowledge-sharing activities for team members and stakeholders
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Client Copilot, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and project outcomes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project Management and/or Product Management experience working with both business stakeholders and technology/development teams
- Strong experience leading cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation and delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to gather, document, and communicate business requirements effectively
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
- Self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Familiarity with financial systems, payment processing, reconciliation, or fraud management environments
- Experience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Client Copilot, or similar platforms
- Experience in Payment Fraud, Risk Management, or Financial Services environments
- Knowledge of financial systems testing and implementation methodologies
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications
- Experience supporting enterprise-level financial applications and system integrations
