IKS Health is dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry by providing innovative solutions that improve provider efficiency, enhance patient outcomes, and optimize financial results for healthcare organizations. They are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to serve as the strategic lead for their digital product ecosystem, focusing on user behavior, interface standards, and the integration of emerging AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Define the overarching UX vision and UI design language for our omnichannel ecosystem, ensuring a seamless transition for users moving between web, mobile, and voice/AI touchpoints
- Architect sophisticated, user-facing analytics tools. You will lead the 'Information Design' strategy—deciding how to visualize complex metrics so they are glanceable, actionable, and visually cohesive
- Lead the design strategy for AI-driven features. You will define how we handle AI transparency, trust, 'hallucination' states, and proactive system suggestions
- Oversee and evolve a scalable Design System that maintains brand integrity while supporting data-heavy components across all platforms
- Serve as the bridge between Product, Engineering, and Stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into high-level user flows and intuitive wireframes
- Direct usability testing and competitive analysis to ensure our AI and analytics implementations solve real user pain points rather than just adding 'tech for tech’s sake.'
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in UX Strategy, Interaction Design, or Product Design
- Mastery of data visualization principles; ability to reduce cognitive load while presenting 'dense' information through intuitive charts and KPIs
- Deep understanding of maintaining 'state' and context for a user as they transition across different devices and platforms
- Experience designing for Generative AI or Predictive Analytics, focusing on the psychology of human-AI interaction (trust, feedback loops, and agency)
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Experience designing for high-stakes environments where data privacy (HIPAA) and cognitive load are critical
- A background in making 'dense' healthcare data (EHRs, lab results, or insurance claims) simple and actionable for the end-user
