Role Overview
Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic business opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners, managing ongoing relationships and ensuring alignment with directv's business objectives.
Lead end-to-end execution of new business opportunities including deal structuring, negotiation support, due diligence, and operational implementation.
Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned partnerships and business development initiatives.
Conduct in-depth market, competitive, and technical analysis to evaluate new partnership opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
Lead and influence cross-functional teams on business development initiatives without direct authority, driving accountability and alignment.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional development and day-to-day work quality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
3 – 5 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, or a related field.
Demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex partnership negotiations and executing multi-stakeholder initiatives from inception through launch.
Experience in the media, telecommunications, or technology industry preferred.
Advanced knowledge of business development frameworks, partnership structures, and strategic planning methodologies.
Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience building financial models, business cases, and ROI analyses.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed organization.
High proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
