Communications Manager

Runway is an innovative company focused on building AI to simulate the world by merging art and science. They are seeking a Communications Manager to support their communications team in media relations, messaging, and storytelling about their technology and its impact. The role involves managing communications activities, preparing materials for media interactions, and collaborating with various teams to promote the company's initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update communications activity trackers, editorial calendars and internal reporting dashboards to keep the team organized and on deadline
• Prepare executive briefing materials, reporter backgrounders and other supporting documents ahead of media interactions and events
• Own awards and speaking programs; Manage speaking opportunities for executives
• Support Communications, Marketing and Brand teams on Runway-owned events
• Pitch and secure media opportunities for various executives and spokespeople, supporting our research, product and GTM initiatives
• Draft and own certain announcements including product or feature launches
• Work closely with our Research, Engineering, Product and Marketing teams to share market insights and identify potential storytelling opportunities
