Nutrislice is an established Colorado-based foodservice technology company, and they’re growing their Sales team with the addition of a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will drive the sales pipeline by identifying and generating opportunities within K-12 school districts, making calls, and engaging decision-makers to book meetings for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive qualified pipeline by identifying and generating opportunities within target accounts of K-12 school districts throughout the country
- Build, scale, and utilize outreach sequences, cold calling, social selling, and networking to create pipeline
- Make 50+ calls per day to identify target organizations’ needs and objectives
- Utilize Salesforce, Google Suite, Chili Piper, Outreach.io, Clay, Claude, ChatGPT, and Zapier with proficiency
- Use online resources to understand customers’ pain points and work to solve them
- Track and report progress on daily, weekly and monthly goals
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of direct sales experience or relevant coursework
- Food service experience a plus
- The ability to source great prospects and obtain all necessary information to support seller success
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed quotas (sales rankings preferred)
- Tenacious with ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and manage time on a self-directed basis
- A coachable individual who's open to new ideas and feedback, and is looking to advance their skill set
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit – the idea of being an active participant in a growing company must excite you
- Must be tech savvy and able to navigate Salesforce.com
