About this role
Eaton is a leader in the energy sector, and they are seeking a Regional Application Engineer to support the commercial and industrial markets. This role involves providing technical leadership and support for electrical consultants and designers, as well as collaborating with sales teams to achieve market acceptance of Eaton's electrical infrastructure products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical pre-sale application and technical support for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products with related consulting firms in assigned sales geographies to better position Eaton in the market
- Provide technical application support on target projects including drawing reviews, contributions to sales pursuit strategies, and through interface with key stakeholders involved in the design and specification of the electrical infrastructure systems
- Assist customers with design-build opportunities, lighting audits, and other consultative activities
- Provide strategic technical leadership and mentoring in support of the sales teams in the assigned sales geographies
- Conduct product seminars and training on Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products and solutions to consultants, specifiers, end users, channel partners, and sales engineers
- Work with product lines on the development of tools and literature focused on power system designers and provide voice-of-customer input to drive product development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of electrical sales and/or electrical engineering experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of related sales experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Knowledgeable of Eaton Electrical products, services, and competitive offerings
