Role: Project Manager (Lean Portfolio Management)

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Portfolio & Value Manager to facilitate and strengthen Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) across strategic enterprise portfolios. The ideal candidate will oversee portfolio governance, funding, prioritization, and portfolio operations while driving Agile best practices and continuous improvement. Experience managing enterprise portfolios and leading Agile transformations is required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze portfolio needs and develop portfolio maturity plans.
- Oversee governance for the intake, prioritization, and decision-making of investments to maximize value delivery.
- Manage the portfolio Kanban and facilitate governance decisions to ensure prioritized work delivers business value.
- Manage portfolio budgets, scope, and execution.
- Monitor Lean Budgeting guardrails to support strategic funding decisions.
- Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps.
- Oversee portfolio reporting, including metrics, objectives, key results (OKRs), and value metrics.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and portfolio prioritization.
- Serve as an Agile Coach to identify opportunities for improving Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices.
- Coordinate portfolio adjustments in response to changing business priorities.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior consulting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
- Experience with project, program, and portfolio management best practices, including change management, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting.
- Strong ability to track portfolio, program, and project progress, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Experience managing multiple strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent consultative, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for both virtual and in-person audiences.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience launching value streams and implementing enterprise-level Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices.
