Raptor Technologies is a school safety partner for 60,000 schools, providing SaaS and mobile technology solutions. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the EventSafe platform, focusing on product strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional execution to drive revenue growth and enhance the K-12 events management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the EventSafe product strategy, roadmap, and vision aligned with Raptor’s revenue goals and K–12 market needs
- Define short-, mid-, and long-term roadmap horizons, communicating priorities clearly to engineering, sales, marketing, and executive leadership
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities in school events management, including ticket sales, access control, capacity management, and mobile attendee experiences
- Identify and evaluate cross-product opportunities to leverage other Raptor K–12 school safety products within the EventSafe platform
- Leverage AI-assisted product development lifecycle (AI-PDLC) practices throughout discovery, planning, and delivery — using AI tooling to accelerate research, requirement development, prioritization, and decision-making
- Work directly with K–12 school administrators, athletic directors, activities coordinators, and other end users to deeply understand their needs for managing school events — from athletic competitions to performances to fundraisers
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research across events management, ticketing platforms (both K–12-specific and general-purpose), and mobile event apps
- Partner with Product Marketing to understand market direction, competitive forces, and go-to-market strategy
- Leverage customers and prospects as active feedback partners on priorities, requirements, and product design
- Collaborate with a significantly scaled engineering team based in India; actively participate in team rituals and planning sessions
- Embrace modern AI-assisted product development lifecycle (AI-PDLC) practices with your team to drive project planning, backlog refinement, and requirement definition in partnership with the engineering team
- Work in a hybrid model where you carry both strategic PM responsibilities and where you partner closely with engineering tech leads and the design team on project refinement, backlog prioritization, and project delivery
- Travel periodically to India to build relationships with the engineering team, align on roadmap priorities, and accelerate delivery velocity
- Develop and deliver realistic delivery timelines coordinated with product management, engineering, design, and stakeholder teams
- Manage the EventSafe product lifecycle from discovery through release, go-to-market, and post-launch optimization
- Define and track success metrics for adoption, engagement, and revenue generation
- Partner with Sales on training, positioning, and deal support for EventSafe opportunities both virtually and at in-person meetings or key clients
- Work with customer success and professional services teams to ensure smooth implementations and strong customer experiences
- Evaluate product usage data and analytics to continuously inform decision-making
- Maintain high-frequency communication across technology, engineering, support, implementations, sales, and marketing
- Present product plans, roadmaps, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategies to executive leadership
- Serve as a strong product voice in go-to-market activities — supporting client-facing sales presentations, training and enabling Solution Engineers, and actively participating in pipeline and deal advancement alongside the sales team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software Product Management experience, with at least 2 years at the Senior PM level
- Deep domain expertise in events management technology — including online ticketing, ticket sales platforms, event registration, access control, or event operations software
- Strong background in mobile app product management (iOS and/or Android); experience shipping mobile-first or mobile-native products
- Experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams; demonstrated ability to manage across time zones effectively
- Strong Agile/SDLC experience, including Jira or equivalent tools
- Proven ability to lead without authority — aligning cross-functional teams around a product vision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive product decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive audiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Direct experience in K–12 education technology, particularly in the context of school events (athletics, performing arts, student activities, fundraising)
- Experience with SaaS-based ticketing or point-of-sale platforms, including payment processing and financial reconciliation
- Familiarity with gate access, QR code scanning, or event capacity management systems
- Experience in product roles at a company serving school districts or educational institutions
