Kenkeputa is building a multi-product commerce and services ecosystem spanning Africa and North America, including fintech, e-commerce, and Artificial Intelligence. They are seeking a Growth Leader to own marketing, adoption, partnerships, and sales across all products and the brand itself, working directly with the CEO and core leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute Kenkeputa’s global growth strategy
- Own acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and expansion
- Balance short-term traction with long-term platform growth
- Build a repeatable growth playbook that works across products and regions
- Own the Kenkeputa master brand and all product brands including: performance marketing, content & social, influencer & community growth, product marketing & positioning
- Ensure consistent storytelling across Africa and North America
- Drive strategic partnerships: vendors, merchants, creators, enterprise partners, payment, logistics, distribution, and ecosystem partners
- Design win-win partnership models that unlock distribution and revenue
- Support enterprise and platform-level deals where needed
- Own growth-driven sales strategy (B2C, B2B, and marketplace-led)
- Work with Operations to ensure strong conversion and fulfillment
- Help define pricing, promotions, and monetization experiments
- Manage user migration from existing products
- Define incentives, messaging, and rollout sequencing
- Ensure minimal churn and maximum excitement during transition
- Work daily with Engineering and Operations leadership
- Translate growth insights into product and technical priorities
- Build and manage a lean, high-output growth team over time
- Operate with strong metrics, dashboards, and accountability
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in growth, marketing, partnerships, or revenue leadership
- Proven experience growing consumer or marketplace products
- Strong understanding of African markets, especially Nigeria
- Data-driven decision making with strong execution bias
- 28 years or younger
- Ability to operate at both strategy and hands-on execution levels
- Excellent communication, ownership, and leadership skills
- Prior experience at leading African tech startups (e.g. large marketplaces, fintechs, developer platforms, or payments companies)
- Experience launching or scaling multi-product platforms
- Exposure to cross-border growth (Africa ↔ North America)
- Experience working with AI-driven or platform products
