Job Description:

• Provide thought leadership, engineering expertise, and direction to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and crossfunctional groups to drive continuous delivery.
• Analyze user stories, design and develop applications, and build/test automation tools.
• Own technical aspects of software development (architecture, design, development).
• Perform handson coding, write API specs, conduct POCs, code reviews, and sprint testing.
• Drive consistent practices with tools and common components.
• Develop system integration knowledge across supported domains.
• Work with product managers on blueprints and annual feature planning.
• Adopt new technologies to solve current needs and anticipate future challenges.
• Communicate solutions effectively to internal and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years software development experience.
• Distributed/multitier systems expertise; strong Java & Python skills.
• Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka experience.
• Database expertise (Relational & NoSQL).
• Google Cloud Platform: Storage, BigQuery, Vertex AI.
• Agile, CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
• Release management tools: Maven, Salt, Git, Jenkins.
• Architecture design & modeling skills.
• Web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and Unix/Linux familiarity.
• Data structures & algorithms knowledge.
• Python experience (bonus).
• Strong documentation and written communication.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Genesys contact center ecosystem familiarity (preferred).
• Leadership & communication across technical and nontechnical teams.

Secondary Skills

• AI/ML integration into production systems.
• Machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering).
• Vertex AI model lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring).
