Mercy is a healthcare organization seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions. Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements scalable AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, transformer architectures, and agentic AI systems
• Leads development of intelligent applications (e.g., chatbots, decision support tools) integrating NLP and generative AI capabilities
• Drives the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI models in production environments
• Builds and manages robust data pipelines to support training, evaluation, and retraining workflows
• Conducts advanced NLP tasks including summarization, named entity recognition, and prompt optimization
• Mentors' engineers and fosters a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
• Translates strategic business needs into technical AI architectures and actionable deliverables
• Ensures compliance with ethical AI practices, privacy regulations, and governance standards
• Communicates technical solutions, milestones, and AI product impacts to senior stakeholders
• Stays current with emerging tools, agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Crew AI), and industry trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 4 years of experience in AI/ML development and software engineering, with demonstrated success in deploying production-grade AI solutions
