The Business Development Manager will focus on a full-cycle sales process, helping businesses identify and monetize tax incentives and credits while working directly with senior finance leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Educate founders, CFOs, and finance leaders on available tax incentives and funding opportunities
- Identify qualified opportunities and collaborate with internal tax/technical teams
- Build and manage a strong pipeline and mid-market clients
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Requirements:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience within the tax incentives industry, including R&D tax credits, cost segregation, energy credits, or similar incentive-based tax solutions
- A proven closer with a history of winning clients, exceeding targets
- Comfortable selling to senior decision-makers (CFO, Founder, Controller)
- Strong communication, discovery, and closing skills
