They are seeking a remote Business Development Representative to identify and qualify local business owners, schedule introductory calls, and earn referral commissions based on client engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Identify target businesses
- Initiate conversations with owners
- Qualify them based on simple criteria provided
- Register qualified prospects through the online portal
Requirements:
- Existing relationships with local business owners or a demonstrated ability to build them quickly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage independent outreach activity
- Comfortable with basic digital tools for logging and tracking prospect activity
- Experience in real estate, insurance, mortgage, finance, or business services is a strong plus
- Exposure to business brokerage, private equity, or M&A is highly valued but not required
- No degree requirement — network quality and work ethic matter more than credentials
