They are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management - Outbound to translate product strategy into market-ready offerings, ensuring alignment across various departments and driving revenue growth in enterprise and wholesale markets.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Outbound Product Strategy
- Define and lead the outbound product strategy for assigned domains, from positioning through launch and lifecycle optimization
- Translate product capabilities into clear value propositions, differentiated messaging, and market‑ready offers
- Create and maintain product launch frameworks, including target segments, pricing logic, packaging, sales plays, and success metrics
- Drive Go‑to‑Market Execution
- Lead multifunctional launch teams to bring new products and features to market quickly, with quality and discipline
- Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to ensure readiness across training, tools, content, and field execution
- Develop and sustain strategic sales motions, including executive selling scenarios, competitive strategy, and customer proof points
- Shape the Product Roadmap from the Market Back
- Represent market, customer, and revenue insights concerning Product Management and Engineering planning cycles
- Size customer and market opportunities and develop business cases that target roadmap investments based on growth, profitability, and strategic fit
- Manage short‑term revenue opportunities with long‑term platform and portfolio evolution
- Operate as a Cross‑Functional Leader
- Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Partners to ensure offers are technically sound, operationally viable, and financially solid
- Build alignment at the executive level by communicating tradeoffs, risks, and outcomes clearly
- Anticipate and resolve issues that could impair launch success, customer experience, or commercial performance
- Measure, Learn, and Optimize
- Define success metrics for launches and ongoing performance such as adoption, attach, churn, margin, and revenue
- Use market data, customer feedback, and performance analytics to improve positioning, packaging, and sales execution
- Continuously improve how Lumen brings products to market—simplifying where possible, innovating where needed
- Leadership Scope
- Senior leadership role with significant influence across Product, GTM, and Sales
- High visibility with executive stakeholders
- Expected to mentor and develop product leaders and outbound talent
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or go‑to‑market leadership roles
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling complex technology products in B2B or enterprise environments
- Strong experience working with Sales organizations on commercialization, enablement, and revenue acceleration
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders through data, judgment, and clear storytelling
- Experience with network services, cloud connectivity, digital platforms, or infrastructure‑enabled services
- Familiarity with enterprise buying motions, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, and partner ecosystems
- Experience developing pricing, packaging, and offer constructs at scale
