Software Engineer Intern

Beyondsoft is a leading mid-sized business IT and consulting company that thrives on innovation. They are seeking an AI Software Engineering Intern to assist in the development of a next-generation agentic AI platform by building scalable, AI-driven backend services and modular workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Build Portable AI “Agent Skills” across popular AI platforms
• AI Integration: Assist in implementing and testing agentic workflows and advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, including Graph RAG and Agentic RAG
• Backend Development: Contribute to the core platform architecture and API development utilizing .NET 10 and microservices
• Observability: Support the integration of distributed tracing and monitoring across the platform using OpenTelemetry
• Collaboration: Work alongside a hybrid onshore/offshore engineering team to execute technical designs and meet critical release milestones

Requirements:

• Pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Solid programming foundation with experience in backend development, specifically C# and .NET
• Strong interest in generative AI, LLMs, and modern system architecture
• Familiarity with any of the following is a strong plus: Microsoft Agent Framework, Dapr, OpenTelemetry, or AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor)
