New York Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale healthcare and technology initiatives. This individual will drive projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for complex initiatives, ensuring successful execution across scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and presentations
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics using project management tools
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and escalating when necessary
- Oversee project budgets and resource planning, ensuring financial alignment and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with governance standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines (including HIPAA)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, risks, and change requests
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze challenges and recommend effective solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5–7 years of project management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects independently
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Master's degree in a related field
- PMP, Six Sigma, or similar project management certification (or in progress)
- Experience working within healthcare systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts
