Hidani Tech is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Construction Safety Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs across construction projects while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement construction safety policies, procedures, and programs
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Monitor construction activities and recommend corrective actions when required
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare safety reports and documentation
- Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site teams
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and workers to improve safety performance
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures
- Maintain safety records, compliance reports, and inspection documentation
- Support emergency response planning and safety improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and risk management practices
- Understanding of construction processes, site operations, and engineering principles
- Ability to identify hazards and implement effective safety solutions
- Experience in safety inspections, audits, and incident investigation
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and workplace safety procedures
- Proficiency in preparing safety reports and technical documentation
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of safety management systems and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with safety tools, reporting software, and project management systems
- Professional certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or safety management certifications
- Experience in construction quality and environmental safety practices
- Understanding of emergency management and workplace risk control
