Associate, Global Market Strategy

New York Life Investment Management is one of the largest global asset managers, overseeing over $800 billion in assets. The Associate, Global Market Strategy will support economic, market, and asset allocation research while collaborating with senior strategists to monitor developments and contribute to thought leadership materials.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct economic, market, and policy research to support the team's investment views and thought leadership initiatives
• Monitor macroeconomic developments, geopolitical events, market trends, and key economic indicators
• Gather, organize, and analyze economic and financial market data
• Maintain economic databases, dashboards, and recurring analytical reports used by the team
• Produce charts, exhibits, data visualizations, and supporting analysis for presentations, publications, and internal discussions
• Draft market commentary, outlooks, presentations, webinars, podcasts, and other thought leadership content
• Support responses to market events, client questions, and internal business requests through timely research and data analysis
• Help manage the team's editorial and publication process, including coordination with marketing, compliance, and investment teams
