MyEmployment is a founder-led startup reinventing employment verifications, and they are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to manage and scale their sales pipeline. The role involves owning the sales process from discovery calls to closing deals with C-suite executives at large U.S. employers.
Responsibilities:
- Own the deal from the BDR-booked discovery call through to close — run the sales conversation, advance the opportunity, and answer for the revenue end-to-end
- Partner closely with the marketing team to power the sales engine across LinkedIn, email, and phone, keeping qualified pipeline flowing
- Run Zoho CRM as your operating system: assign and route every lead, enforce pipeline hygiene and daily activity reporting, and make sure each prospect is serviced correctly and nothing slips
- Report on weekly pipeline and metric reviews — dials, connects, replies, meetings booked, win rate, and revenue — track what's working, cut what isn't
- Forecast and report results directly to the CEO and President, using data to shape sales strategy and priorities
Requirements:
- Proven B2B sales experience closing deals with C-suite HR and finance buyers (CHROs, CPOs, CFOs, Chief Compliance Officers) at large U.S. employers
- Hands-on experience running multi-channel outbound (LinkedIn, email, phone) and managing lead flow at volume
- Player-coach capability — you can close at a high level personally and coach inside BDR reps and contractors doing the same
- Comfortable selling a disruptive product against entrenched incumbents
