Hidani Tech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Safety Engineer to join their expanding team in the US. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs across various construction projects to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor construction safety plans, procedures, and compliance programs across project sites
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare safety reports, incident documentation, training materials, and compliance records
- Review project plans, construction methods, and site operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams throughout all project phases
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, construction standards, and environmental requirements
- Support project planning, scheduling, and construction activities by integrating safety measures into operations
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and develop preventive solutions to maintain safe project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in construction safety management, site supervision, or engineering support
- Proficiency with safety management systems, reporting tools, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or related construction software
- Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, construction safety procedures, and emergency response planning
- Knowledge of construction regulations, workplace safety standards, and industry compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative work environment
- Experience with construction safety programs and digital project management platforms
- Familiarity with fall protection, confined space procedures, equipment safety, and environmental compliance practices
- Professional certifications such as OSHA, CSP, CHST, ASP, or progress toward certification
- Exposure to residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects
