Business Analyst (Financial Consolidation & Reporting)

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in Financial Consolidation and Reporting. This role involves collaborating with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to enhance reporting capabilities and support financial close activities while contributing to a financial reporting transformation program.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to support financial consolidation and reporting processes
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system, data, and reporting issues
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/quarter-end financial close activities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and reporting structures
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Participate in system testing, validation, reconciliation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support financial data governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements
• Contribute to financial systems transformation and reporting modernization initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• 6+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting Finance or Accounting organizations
• Hands-on experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation)
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, reporting, and close processes
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Proven experience gathering business requirements and supporting system enhancements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Experience with OneStream or Hyperion
• Background in Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, or Controllership functions
• Experience supporting enterprise finance transformation initiatives
