Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a Remote position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Plano, TX. This role will lead a multi-phase transition within a complex health plan environment, managing cross-functional coordination and ensuring alignment across teams and vendors to meet regulatory timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the overall project effort, driving cross-functional coordination, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment
- Support delivery of defined workstreams within a larger program
- Maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, and status updates
- Manage RAID logs and ensure timely escalation of risks and issues
- Coordinate across internal teams and vendors to support execution
- Prepare status reporting and support governance forums
- Track action items and ensure follow-through against agreed timelines
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: PBM, Health Plan / Payer, Managed Care, Healthcare IT
- Health Plan or PBM Operations experience including: Medicaid & Medicare Part D, Claims file, Data Exchange, Eligibility/Enrollment, Formulary / Benefits, Testing, and Vendor management
- Technical Skills: NCPDP Telecom D.0 and F6, plus Batch; NCPDP SCRIPT for e-prescribing; Claim Adjudication platforms (RxClaim, JUDI, Abarca)
- Experience with data analysis & mapping, requirements documentation, testing lifecycle, multi-system data flows and integration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships
- Proven ability to deliver results on schedule and at required quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making capabilities
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience with NCPDP transaction standards, industry standard file layouts, claims data reconciliation or financial data flows, and pharmacy benefit configuration
