Hermetic AI is a company focused on building AI agents for the hospitality industry. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their Founding SDR Team, responsible for generating qualified pipelines through outbound prospecting and building relationships with hospitality operators.
Responsibilities:
- Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and targeted campaigns
- Research hospitality groups, restaurant operators, hotels, event venues, and catering teams to identify strong-fit accounts
- Map decision-makers including CEOs, COOs, CMOs, Group Sales Leaders, Directors of Events, Catering Sales Directors, Private Dining Directors, and hospitality sales teams
- Create personalized messaging that speaks directly to each account’s revenue opportunity, event sales workflow, and follow-up challenges
- Qualify prospects by understanding lead volume, current response process, tech stack, pain points, and revenue opportunity
- Partner with GTM leadership to test messaging, verticals, target lists, outbound sequences, and positioning
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene and document what is working across campaigns
- Bring urgency, creativity, and consistency to pipeline generation every day
- Help build the early SDR playbook for Hermetic AI
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, outbound sales, hospitality sales, recruiting, or another high-activity customer-facing role
- Experience with cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn prospecting, CRM workflows, and structured follow-up
- Strong written communication skills. You can write outbound that sounds sharp, human, and relevant
- Comfort researching accounts and creating personalized outreach
- A competitive mindset and the ability to handle rejection without slowing down
- High ownership. You do not wait around to be told exactly what to do
- Curiosity about AI, startups, hospitality, restaurants, revenue operations, or sales technology
- Bonus points if you have sold into restaurants, hotels, hospitality groups, event teams, local businesses, SMB/mid-market accounts, or multi-location operators
