Honeycomb is a forward-thinking company focused on observability and developer tools, working with notable clients across various industries. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive core product features for enterprise customers, collaborating closely with engineering and design teams while advocating for user needs.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll own driving the work and outcomes on core product features in support of our largest enterprise customers, including everything from the setup process for new users and teams to growing accounts with tools to scale the management of users, teams and resources
- You’ll solve problems around automated lifecycle management, APIs at scale, IAC, and the needs particular to “big teams” as they grow with Honeycomb
- You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and design in a triad-based working model
- You’ll build relationships and facilitate impactful technical conversations across the company, including partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
- You’ll naturally gravitate toward empathetically understanding users, what pains them and pleases them, and you’ll be relentless in advocating for their best interests in the product
- You’ll be taking directional guidance from key stakeholders and using it as the basis for chartering your own product discovery adventures
- You have an aspiration to synthesize and distill signal to create focus. You will not be easily distracted by streams of information incoming from many directions
- You’ll contribute to a community of practice with your fellow Product Managers, fostering a culture of cohesion and knowledge-sharing

- You'll contribute to a community of practice with your fellow Product Managers, fostering a culture of cohesion and knowledge-sharing
- You're endlessly curious - a proactive problem solver. You seek data to inform your decision-making and allow that to inform how you prioritize work. You never stop asking questions and you seek answers from your customers, your colleagues and your own research
- You're a thoughtful communicator and product leader. We see clear and regular communication (including a willingness to give and receive feedback) as a fundamental skill, not just a nice to have — and we hope you do too. This role sits at the intersection of several teams and our users, making communication especially important
- You are equally at home setting a vision and identifying small pieces of value that can be delivered iteratively and quickly. You enjoy shepherding product work through its entire lifecycle, from early prototype to GA
- You find ambiguity inspiring and are driven to navigate your way through it to a place of clarity. You value making space for learning before pushing toward a solution
- You're comfortable or interested in technically complex spaces, whether it's a background being a developer yourself or a history working on technical SaaS products. A strong preference to have experience working in or as a user of tracing, metrics, monitoring, or analytics software
- You're excited to build the next generation of observability technology!
