SharePoint Administrator || Onsite/Hybrid role in Charlotte, NC ||

Position: SharePoint Administrator

Location: Charlotte, NC(Onsite/Hybrid role)

Duration: Contract

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to manage and support enterprise Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience administering SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and related Microsoft 365 services while ensuring security, compliance, governance, and high availability.

Required Skills:

• 10-15+ years of SharePoint Administration experience
• Strong experience with SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
• Experience administering Microsoft Teams and OneDrive
• Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint permissions, security groups, and access management
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Compliance Center
• Experience implementing SharePoint governance, taxonomy, metadata, and information architecture
• PowerShell scripting for administration and automation
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
• SharePoint migration experience using ShareGate or Microsoft Migration Manager
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Experience monitoring SharePoint performance, storage, and usage analytics
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365 collaboration services

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration environments.
• Manage SharePoint site collections, document libraries, lists, permissions, and workflows.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Teams and OneDrive integrations.
• Implement governance, security, compliance, retention policies, and sensitivity labels.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Support SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and platform enhancements.
• Monitor system health, performance, storage utilization, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Identity teams to implement secure collaboration solutions.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for SharePoint-related incidents and requests.
• Participate in security audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
• Experience in Cyber Security organizations or highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security architecture
• Experience with Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator or related Microsoft certifications

• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Knowledge of Azure Automation
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
