Commercial Fleet Insurance Platform Product Manager

Perpendo AI is a company that builds AI agents specifically for the insurance industry. They are seeking a Commercial Fleet Insurance Platform Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the commercial fleet platform, focusing on improving underwriters' efficiency and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the commercial fleet platform
• Spend real time with the people who use the platform and the people who need what it produces
• Gather all information, synthesize it into requirements that are specific enough for engineers to build and test, and maintain a backlog that reflects what actually matters
• Manage the backlog, run sprint priorities, keep cross-functional delivery on track, and hold the standard on what ships
• Work alongside sales and customer success as the platform reaches new carrier and MGA customers
• Help frame the product's value in terms that resonate with underwriting leadership, participate in technical conversations with prospective customers, and stay close enough to the market to understand where the product needs to go next

Requirements:

• Commercial fleet insurance operational knowledge
• Ability to own a roadmap
• Ability to write requirements that engineers can actually build from
• Ability to run a backlog without letting it become a graveyard
• Ability to make prioritization decisions that reflect both customer impact and delivery reality
• Experience shipping complex products in regulated industries, enterprise customers, or operational workflows where errors have consequences
• Understanding of how commercial fleet lines insurance works at a practical level
• Experience working closely with underwriters, claims professionals, or program operations teams
• Experience specifically in commercial auto, trucking, fleet, or cargo lines
• Familiarity with federal motor carrier safety data
• Understanding of how loss runs are structured and what they reveal
• Understanding of how MGA program business operates
• Comfort working alongside AI and data science teams
• Ability to write good requirements around AI models
• Ability to recognize when a model output isn't behaving correctly
• Ability to communicate clearly between technical teams and insurance operators
