Ideal Systems is a company that designs and builds mobile applications on leading Customer Experience platforms. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive pipeline growth in the US market through outbound prospecting and collaboration with the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive net-new pipeline by cold prospecting into target accounts, identifying the right contacts and starting conversations from scratch
- Reach cold prospects across phone, email, and LinkedIn, using intent signals and account research to keep outreach personalized and relevant
- Own the first touch on inbound leads, responding quickly and moving qualified interest into the next conversation
- Engage with NiCE, Amazon Connect, and Genesys channel partners to source and influence opportunities
- Maintain HubSpot with precision, ensuring data accuracy and expanding contact lists with key personas and decision-makers
- Use LinkedIn and other channels to build presence with target buyers, stay top-of-mind, and open conversations through credible engagement
- Use outbound performance data to refine what's working, drop what isn't, and consistently improve conversion rates
- Represent Ideal Systems at industry events and trade shows, including working booths as needed
- Meet or exceed quarterly targets for qualified opportunities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B technology sales as a BDR, SDR, or comparable prospecting role
- Self-starter with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets
- Demonstrated success generating pipeline through cold outreach
- Experience with intent data platforms and account-based prospecting motions
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to adjust tone and style depending on the audience
- Naturally curious and skilled at identifying prospect needs, then steering the conversation toward where Ideal Systems can help
- Comfortable using CRM tools, sales engagement platforms, and prospecting tools
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities across a high-volume activity model while maintaining attention to detail
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote role
- Experience in CCaaS a plus
- Familiarity with the NiCE, Amazon Connect, or Genesys partner ecosystems
- College degree preferred
