Project Manager IV

Centene Corporation is transforming the health of communities across the nation, and they are seeking a Project Manager IV to lead complex projects utilizing cross-functional teams. This role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing projects to ensure alignment with company strategic objectives and delivering high visibility programs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise scale, cross functional projects and programs from initiation through delivery and close out
• Translate executive priorities into clear scopes, timelines, milestones, and governance structures
• Coordinate across Quality, Analytics, Technology, Operations, vendors, and market teams to ensure alignment and execution
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans; proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts
• Provide concise, executive ready status updates, issue escalation, and decision support materials
• Facilitate governance forums, working sessions, and leadership reviews to drive decisions and remove barriers
• Ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards, documentation, and reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to simplify delivery, reduce duplication, and improve execution efficiency across initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of project management experience with departmental specific projects
• Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff
• Proficient with MS-Office applications
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Healthcare experience; managed care experience preferred
• PMP certification preferred
