KENDELL is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to manage projects end-to-end while executing procurement for hollow metal doors, frames, and related materials. The role involves ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, coordinating material procurement, and resolving purchasing and project issues.
Responsibilities:
- Own project lifecycle: contracts, schedules, budgets, change orders, and closeout
- Coordinate material procurement, delivery, and installation timelines
- Execute purchasing: review orders, issue POs, verify pricing, and track shipments
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on status, issues, and updates
- Resolve purchasing and project issues; maintain documentation and financial accuracy
- Monitor costs and support margin goals
- Improve processes and support cross-functional collaboration
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years project management, purchasing or cradle to grave experience in Doors, Frames & Hardware industry
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with minimal mentor involvement (approximately 25%)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project management or database software
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, flexibility, and dependability
- Ability to manage customer relationships, resolve conflicts, and negotiate terms effectively
- Critical thinking skills to identify and evaluate complex issues, analyze data, and implement solutions
- General mathematical proficiency including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, fractions, and ratios
