Excelligence Learning Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Business Development Account Executive to drive new business growth across both school and corporate markets. This role focuses on expanding market share through strategic prospecting, pipeline development, and new customer acquisition within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting activities
- Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities within assigned territories
- Present and sell EPI products and services to prospective and existing customers
- Maintain consistent outbound activity levels and accurately document all sales activities within Salesforce CRM
- Conduct professional virtual presentations and product demonstrations via Zoom for individuals and groups
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and other sales-related documentation
- Analyze customer needs and recommend customized solutions that align with business objectives
- Coordinate order processing, shipping schedules, and delivery logistics as needed
- Participate in local and regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to sales leadership
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting through CRM systems
- Follow company sales processes, policies, and procedures
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
- Support marketing initiatives including seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing campaigns
- Contribute to territory planning and overall business development strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer success and revenue growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 3–5 years of relevant sales experience
- Proven success in prospecting, pipeline generation, and achieving or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence decision-makers and build long-term customer relationships
- Experience using CRM platforms; Salesforce experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to travel within assigned territory; valid driver's license required
- Experience in school fundraising, educational programs, apparel, or spirit wear sales is a plus
- Comfortable using virtual communication platforms and modern sales technologies, including AI tools
