Description: Our client is currently seeking a Web Accessibility Consultant
Accessibility & Technical Expertise- Accessibility standards - Deep expertise in WCAG 2.1/2.2 A & AA, ARIA patterns, and assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Front-end engineering - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Accessibility testing - Hands-on experience with tools like the Deque axe suite and automated testing pipelines.
AI & Tooling- AI-assisted development - Familiarity with LLM-based engineering tools (e.g., Claude or similar) and their integration into development workflows.
- Tool evaluation - Ability to assess, implement, and optimize development and testing tools.
- Data-driven recommendations - Skilled at defining forward paths using measurable outcomes and insights.
Leadership & Consulting- Cross-functional influence - Proven ability to guide engineering, product, and design partners in a matrixed environment.
- Technical enablement - Strong consulting, coaching, and training capabilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Communication excellence - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Data & Analytics- Data analysis - Strong analytical and reporting skills using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Data-informed improvement - Experience leveraging data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
Engineering & Delivery- SDLC expertise - Deep understanding of modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Technical initiative leadership - Experience leading or contributing to complex engineering programs.
- Cloud platforms - Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
