About this role
Butler Aerospace & Defense is one of the largest American-owned aerospace and defense companies. They are seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to conduct engineering analyses, document findings, and perform safety impact assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts engineering and technical analyses. Documents findings for safety and investigative reports
- Review problem reports for safety impact
- Perform SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E
- Support customer facing meetings
- Support SSTRP
Requirements:
- DOD Secret Clearance
- Experience in SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E
