PRIMECORE GROUP is a Commissioning and QA/QC team specializing in mission-critical facilities, particularly focused on data center electrical systems. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Driving growth across PRIMECORE GROUP’s mission-critical and data center services
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients
- Developing strategic partnerships in target industries
- Leading proposal development
- Supporting pricing strategies
- Collaborating with technical teams to translate complex commissioning and QA/QC solutions into clear value propositions
- Managing a sales pipeline
- Conducting market research
- Preparing presentations
- Participating in client calls and virtual meetings
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM tools
- Contributing to long-term business development plans
- Attending industry events (virtually and in person as needed)
- Providing feedback to leadership on market trends and client needs
Requirements:
- Strong business development, sales, and account management skills
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships in B2B environments
- Skills in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to identify and pursue growth opportunities in mission-critical and data center sectors
- Negotiation, presentation, and communication skills to effectively convey technical services, lead discussions with stakeholders, and close deals
- Organizational and CRM skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting, to support structured and data-driven business development
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in business development for technical or industrial services
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Occasionally travel to client sites or industry events as required
- Prior experience in commissioning, QA/QC, electrical infrastructure, data centers, or critical facilities is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with technical documentation and compliance standards
