They are seeking a Mid-Market Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to deliver technical expertise and solutions to customers while collaborating closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive technical strategy and address cybersecurity challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Embrace the role of a Solutions Engineer and drive customer success with Cisco’s technical expertise
- Leverage your sales acumen to deliver tailored solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape strategic customer plans
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute technical sales strategies tailored to SMB and Mid Market customers
- Translate complex cybersecurity technologies into clear, approachable concepts for diverse audiences
Requirements:
- Experience in Cybersecurity Presales, Customer Success, Engineering, or Solution Architecture
- Proven knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and industry trends
- 1-3 years in a technical role such as solutions engineer, consultant, or customer success engineer with a solid understanding of Cybersecurity solutions, Networking basics, Industry terminology, markets, and customer needs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- Proficient communication skills both verbally and written, to effectively engage with diverse customers and teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP Security or equivalent are a plus but not required
