The Account Executive will drive the adoption of their AI platform across higher education institutions by engaging with senior academic leaders and navigating complex sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with Provosts, Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs, Deans, and Presidents
- Lead consultative sales conversations around institutional priorities such as student success, faculty productivity, and responsible AI adoption
- Navigate complex university buying processes and multi-stakeholder decision environments
- Generate pipeline through targeted outbound outreach
- Use phone, email, LinkedIn, and conference networking to secure meetings with senior academic leaders
- Identify institutions aligned with our ideal customer profile and pursue them strategically
- Engage quickly with inbound leads from marketing, PR, and conferences
- Conduct discovery conversations to qualify opportunities
- Move prospects through the evaluation and decision process
- Share insights from conversations with academic leaders
- Help refine messaging, positioning, and objection handling
- Collaborate with marketing and product to improve use cases and materials
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity tracking
- Manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Provide visibility into deal progress and forecast expectations
