Data Analyst (Power BI/SQL)

Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to support reporting, analytics, and data visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI and SQL, along with a solid foundation in data modeling and analytics best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
- Build and manage data models following dimensional modeling best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting solutions
- Support data governance initiatives including metadata, lineage, and quality standards
- 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (dashboards, reports, datasets)
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation
- Experience with DAX and Power Query (M)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, semantic models)
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and modern data architectures
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Git)
- Exposure to data governance concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
- Microsoft Power BI or Data Analytics certification preferred
- Power BI (dashboards, datasets, paginated reports, workspace management)
- SQL and relational databases
- Microsoft Fabric and Azure (preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
